Within the healthcare and educational programs, there are several other benefits that are little known to improve and ease the financial burden on the veterans.

Long-term Care

Long term care is considered to be expensive, but it is very important because it provides care for the aging relatives. Through a program known as Aid and Attendance, many veterans are able to receive some money to cover the expenses incurred in nursing homes and other long term care options. The veterans and their spouses receive a certain amount every year to cater for these expenses when they are old.
